After more than a 2 year absence I'm back!

Its been so long since I blogged. I've started photo blogging recently but I guess you just can't beat hard text when it comes down to conveying one's internal ideas.

The last time I blogged was more than two years ago. At the time I was in a relationship with Mark. But shit happens and we broke up last year. I'm happy to say that we've now sorted out our differences and are friends. For a while I hoped Mark and I would get back together. But, as the old saying goes, you can never go back.

So, I've been single for the past year. Its the first time I've been single since I was at college. And its had its moments but its also had its downs. I've met some great people and some real idiots. I can't believe I actually went on holiday with a guy that I barely knew! I put it down to plain stupidity on my part. The fact that my friends didn't have the heart to tell me I was being a dick is kind of good because they care, but kind of shit because I could have not wasted my time, energy and money on a chain-smoking, sex-crazed, anti-depressant-popping loser. Oh well, live and learn.

Anyway, seeing as I'm back blogging I'll be exploring all these themes here at some point in a future blog. So check back regularly and I aim to update a minimum of weekly!
